Big Doors, Big Views, Big Living

Weiland doors embrace large views and incredible surroundings. With expansive glass panels available up to 16 feet tall, entire sections of a building or home can be a transparent moving wall. Panels disappear into pockets, seamlessly connecting interior spaces to the outside.

Living big doesn't always translate to using large amounts of energy. Light and ventilation are key points in the efficiency of a home. Large movable glass walls actually help regulate the temperature of a residence. Take for example the Caterpillar House, Platinum LEED, located in the hill country of central California. Feldman architects used Weiland doors to allow breezes to cool the house. Also to keep in mind, moveable glass walls maximize the space of a room by opening it to the outside.

The rest of the home was built with rammed earth walls and other energy efficient methods, so that the whole house works together to reduce energy consumption. Weiland's moving glass walls redefine the way we live between the indoors and outdoors.

Redefine Your Boundaries.

One of the distinguishing features of our liftslide moving wall is the Weiland flush bottom track which projects above the finished floor by only 3/16". This creates a beautiful and seamless transition between interior and exterior living spaces.
Both the standard and patented drainage flush track systems used with our liftslides have been tested and meet AAMA performance standards for air and water infiltration.
