Today’s issue of The Wallstreet Journal features Weiland Sliding Doors in ‘Airy, Sleek-and Really Loud’ by Anne Marie Chaker.

“[Margarette Lee] decided on sliding glass panels with aluminum frames, made by Weiland Sliding Doors and Windows Inc. of Oceanside, Calif. The six panels are each made of 1/4-inch thick white glass that offers privacy while still allowing light to come through.”

Mojo Stumer Associates won the AIA award for Best Interiors for the design of the urban apartment. The layout includes Weiland’s standard bifold, with a recessed track that creates a seamless transition between spaces when the door is open. The doors were provided by Ideal Fenestration.
